Benjamin Kronk

Born in Minnesota, raised in France and Germany, Benjamin received his bachelor’s from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York, under Juliana Athayde. Currently he pursues his master’s at McGill’s Schulich School of Music with Alexander Read in Montreal. Previous member of the Andrew Alden Ensemble, Benjamin is a substitute violinist for Symphoria, the Syracuse-based orchestra, and with Agora, an orchestra out of Montreal and teaches at the Academie de Musique Vivaldi. He had his debut with the National Repertory Orchestra this summer and has made two Naxos label recordings with grammy award winning conductor David Allan Miller.
