Brian Klickman

Brian Klickman began studying the cello at age three through the Suzuki Method, and is currently Principal Cellist of the Canton Symphony Orchestra, as well as a member of the Akron Symphony and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. He has also been Principal of the Firelands Symphony and a member of the Lakeside Symphony Orchestra. A winner of the Cleveland Cello Society Scholarship Competition, Brian has collaborated in chamber music with such artists as Renee Jolles, Tao Lin, and Kurt Muroki, and holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Cello Performance, Suzuki Pedagogy, and Music Theory, where his principal teachers were Richard Weiss and Mark Kosower.
