Schoharie County Summer String Project Concert: St. Vincent de Paul, Cobleskill

Artist in Residence Concert – As part of the Summer String Project, local music students from Schoharie County will have the opportunity to experience, learn and share music with the Caroga Lake Music Festival artists for five days leading up to the finale performance at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cobleskill. Students will join at the end of the concert for a side-by-side orchestra performance with the CLMF artists.

 

This event is made possible in part with public funds from the Decentralization Program of the NYS Council on the Arts, administered in Schoharie County by the Greene County Council on the Arts through the Community Arts Grants program.

 

Fulton & Montgomery Counties Summer String Project Concert: Arkell Museum

Artist in Residence Concert – The Summer String Project will provide local music students from Fulton and Montgomery Counties the opportunity to experience, learn and share music with the Caroga Lake Music Festival artists for five days leading up to the finale performance at the Arkell Museum in Canajoharie. Students will join at the end of the concert for a side-by-side orchestra performance with the CLMF artists.

The Arkell Museum in Montgomery County collects, preserves, researches and presents American art and Mohawk Valley history, and promotes active participation in art and history related activities, to enhance knowledge, appreciation and personal exploration by all.

 

Saratoga Arts made this program possible with an Arts Education Grant funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
