Currently pursuing her doctorate at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, violinist Janice Lee attended Cleveland Institute of Music for her masters and taught at Cleveland School of the Arts as an Artist in Residence. She has performed as soloist with the University of Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Raleigh Symphony Orchestra and East Carolina Symphony Orchestra. Ms Lee has spent summers performing under Marin Alsop at Britten-Pears Orchestra, National Repertory Repertory Orchestra, Southern Illinois Music Festival and also working with El Sistema programs in Uruguay and El Salvador. Alongside performing in Illinois Symphony, Heartland Festival Orchestra and Millikin Decatur Symphony Orchestra, she teaches preparatory students at Millikin University. Her teachers include Stefan Milenkovich, Nelson Lee, Ivan Zenaty and Ara Gregorian.
