The historic former Sherman’s Amusement Park property is available for private or public events, including weddings, corporate picnics, birthday parties, fairs and more!

For individuals or businesses seeking a unique, historic and inspiring venue, Sherman’s will make your special event a memorable one for you and your guests.

Sherman’s Park is almost fully booked for 2024!

The weekends of June 15 and September 21 are the only available weekends left to rent for the 2024 season. For booking inquiries, please complete the Sherman’s Property Use Request Form and email to or mail to Caroga Arts Collective, PO Box 1048, Caroga Lake, NY 12032.

Generally, Sherman’s is unavailable for rental during the Caroga Lake Music Festival (mid-July – August) as well as Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekends.

2024 Pricing (2025 rates subject to change)

Bumper Car Pavilion – $500 per day

Sherman’s Main Building – $500 per day

Carousel, Access Only – $500 per day

Carousel Use – $100 per hour

Sherman’s Tables and Chairs – $200 per day inside the main building only

Use of Sherman’s Grounds Only – $250 per day

Events must occur between  8 am and 10 pm.


Park Grounds – 7.5 acres of open ground with beautiful views of the lake and mountains.

Bumper Car Pavilion – Standing next to the lake, the iconic Bumper Car Pavilion offers a large open space with overhead cover.

Carousel Access – The historic carousel is complemented by the beautiful lighting and decorative interiors and stained glass windows (use of the Carousel is access only, no use of the platform or animals is granted). The Carousel is the perfect year-round venue space.

Bath Ave Parking Lot – Located adjacent to the Sherman’s Park, the Bath Ave Parking Lot can accommodate vehicles for your guests.
