Jinsun Hong has appeared as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra, and Ola Viola Sound. She has won awards at the LISMA International Music Competition, Korean National Music Competition, and Korean-American National Competition. She performed in a string quartet with violinist Midori in Mongolia as part of the Music Sharing’s International Community Engagement Program. In addition, Jinsun has performed frequently with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and A Far Cry and has also toured with Curtis on Tour alongside Roberto Diaz. She has attended Yellow Barn Chamber Music Festival, International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove, the Perlman Music Program, and Taos School of Music. Jinsun is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and New England Conservatory where she studied with Misha Amory, Roger Tapping and Kim Kashkashian.
