Heeyeon Ko

A native to Ohio, Heeyeon began her violin studies at the age of eight. Heeyeon is a graduate of the Ohio State University majoring in Microbiology and Neuroscience. As part of Chamber Music Connection, she was the first violinist of Quartet Toujour, receiving grand prize at Discover National Chamber Music Competition, gold and Haydn prize at St Paul String Quartet Competition, semifinalist at Fischoff, and featured on From the Top in 2010 and 2011. Since then she has actively pursued her music studies at summer festivals such as Talis Music Festival and Mimir Chamber Music Festival. She has worked with members of Cleveland, Cavani, Ying Fry Street, Quartet, Claremont Trio and has studied under Michael Davis and Leonid Polonsky.

Currently pursuing a diploma in Contemporary Writing and Production as well as Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music, she is actively involved producing in and arranging.
