Mezzo-soprano, Logan Contreras, is a native of Fort Collins, Colorado. Recent performances have included the alto soloist in Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, Die Knusperhexe (Hänsel und Gretel), and La tasse, La chatte, L’écureuil (L’enfant et les Sortileges). Prior performances have included Eduige (Rodelinda), Mrs. Herring (Albert Herring), Mrs. Grose (Turn of the Screw), Zweite Dame (Die Zauberflöte), Mercedes/Carmen (Carmen), Alma March (Little Women), Serse (Serse), and Dorabella (Cosi fan tutté). Ms. Contreras holds a BM from the University of Northern Colorado and a MM from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is currently pursuing a DMA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and serves as adjunct voice faculty at Rockhurst University in Kansas City.
