Andrew Griffin

Andrew Griffin currently holds the viola chair for the national tour of Les Misérables. He has worked alongside several acclaimed artists including multi-Grammy Award winning artist Lauryn Hill and Tony-Award winning director Diane Paulus. Andrew was also a semifinalist at the 2012 Washington International Competition for Strings.

Andrew has done string arrangements and original works for Papa Roach, Skillet, and Invisible Thread (Off-Broadway). He is also the co-founder and writer for Alkali, a string ensemble devoted to classical crossover.

Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s Degree from Rice University.
