Scott McCreary has performed around the world as a cellist, singer, and actor. A graduate of Yale University and the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, Scott began playing cello at age 3. As a classical musician, he has played with the New Haven Symphony, the National Repertory Orchestra, the New World Symphony, and the Aspen Philharmonic Orchestra. As an actor, he played in the national company of Dirty Dancing, as well as leading roles in West Side Story and Catch Me If You Can, and as a singer, he has toured the world and appeared on NBC’s The Sing-Off as a member of the Yale Whiffenpoofs, the nation’s oldest collegiate a cappella group. The newest member of Alkali, he is thrilled to be performing for you today.
