Michigan native and bassoonist Arleigh Savage holds degrees from Michigan State University (BM ‘10) and the Cleveland Institute of Music (MM 12’). She is the principal bassoonist in the Erie Chamber Orchestra and Cleveland Opera Theater, and the second bassoonist for CityMusic Cleveland, Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, and Lancaster Summer Music Festival. Savage is a founding member of the Cleveland-based professional wind quintet, the North Coast Winds, and serves as program curator, outreach coordinator, and co-director of the North Coast Winds annual summer chamber music camp. Savage also enjoys a cross-genre collaboration with guitar and cello in the folk/jazz trio, Cellocentric.
