Cellist Timothy Paek is an enthusiastic musician with a passion for chamber music. He believes in and champions an ideal: chamber music can better the world. Timothy is a founding member of the Meadowlark Piano Trio, which recently advanced to the semi-final round of the Fischoff International Chamber Music Competition, This past season, the trio served as artist fellows for the Music for Food organization, a musician-lead initiative to fight hunger in our local communities. Upcoming highlights of the 2019-2020 season will include a 3 concert series of all three Brahms Piano Trios paired with other incredible works. Recent highlights of Timothy’s career include a fellowship to the Toronto Summer Music Festival, as well as concerts with the Boston-based Phoenix Orchestra. Aside from music, Timothy loves to pursue culinary interests, dancing, basketball, playing board games, playing ping pong, biking, swimming, and exploring the most incredible scenic views of this world.
