Michael Terrasi is a freelance trumpet player based in the Milwaukee area. He appears
frequently with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with the New World
Symphony, the San Francisco Opera, the Stockton Symphony and the Modesto Symphony
Orchestra. Michael received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of
Music, where he studied with Michael Miller and Michael Sachs. While he was there he was
awarded the Bernard Adelstein Prize in Trumpet. He received his Master of Music degree from
the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Adam Luftman. Beginning in
the fall of 2019, Michael will be a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
