Though the band was established in May 2021, Monkberry has been together since middle school. Two of them have been together for 23 years.
Over the years, there have been countless jam sessions, collaborations on original songs, and many game nights, but no one ever asked the question: “Why don’t we just form a band?”
Until now.
The goal of Monkberry is to make you feel good. We believe that with our unique song choices and variety of styles and genres, we can do just that.
In the near future, we plan on releasing original music to the world. We want to make sure it’s just right, so we’ll update you with our progress.
And before you ask: it’s a reference to a song on one of our favorite Paul McCartney albums, ‘Ram.’
