Violist Bethany Hargreaves enjoys a diverse career as a chamber musician, orchestral musician, and educator. She has performed alongside distinguished musicians such as Miriam Fried, Ani Kavafian, Itzhak Perlman, and members of the Aziuri, Brentano, Cleveland, Dover, Emerson, and Orion String Quartets. Hargreaves regularly performs with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, The Cleveland Orchestra, Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players, New York Classical Players, Noree Chamber Soloists, Versoi Ensemble, and community engagement projects with Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and The Perlman Music Program. She recently appeared as Guest Principal with the Sarasota Orchestra and is a tenured member of the Hartford and New Haven Symphony Orchestras. Her principal teachers include Misha Amory, Heidi Castleman, Ettore Causa, Jeffrey Irvine, and Lynne Ramsey, and holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music, The Juilliard School as a Kovner Fellow, and the Yale School of Music.
