Brandon Ilaw is a versatile multi-instrumentalist based in Manhattan and most recently was the percussionist for the Broadway revival of Bob Fosse’s DANCIN’. After winning 2nd prize in the 2014 TROMP International Percussion Competition, Brandon completed a two-year fellowship with Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble Connect. His band, Empire Wild, won the Ambassador Prize at the 2020 Concert Artist Guild Competition and from 2020-2023 he was the percussionist with the national tour of Les Misérables. Brandon serves as dance accompanist at Ailey and AMDA, holds degrees from Boston Conservatory and Juilliard, and is an endorser of Marimba One and Black Swamp Percussion.
