Brian Klickman began studying the cello at age three through the Suzuki Method, and is currently Principal Cellist of the Canton Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. He has also been Principal of the Firelands Symphony Orchestra and the Kent/Blossom Chamber Orchestra, as well as a member of the Akron and Lakeside Symphony Orchestras. A winner of the Cleveland Cello Society Scholarship Competition, Brian has collaborated in chamber music with such artists as Renee Jolles, Tao Lin, and Kurt Muroki, and holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Cello Performance, Suzuki Pedagogy, and Music Theory, where his principal teachers were Richard Weiss and Mark Kosower.
