Richard Brasseale is a saxophonist and composer in the Chicago area. He has played with the Milwaukee Symphony, Madison Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Chicago, and others. He currently teaches at North Park University, as well as Merit School of music. He received his undergraduate and masters degrees at DePaul University, where he won the concerto competition. He also won the People’s Choice Award for the National Saxophone Museum’s Creative Expression prize in 2021.
