Dr. Serena Hsu is an avid chamber musician and dedicated pedagogue based in Manhattan, NY. She is a graduate of MSM, Yale University, The Juilliard School, CIM, and the Paris Conservatoire. She is a prizewinner of various competitions, including YoungArts, the OVS Competition, SPSQC Competition, New Albany Symphony Concerto Competition, and the NY Laureate International Competition. She was also a finalist at the American Viola Society Competition and semi-finalist at the Cecil Aronowitz International Viola Competition in England. Her dissertation focused on viola pedagogy drawn from the Morceaux de Concours compared with bel canto and romantic opera arias.
