Thomas Friedle is currently a freelancer based in Cleveland, OH. In the past year he has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, Toledo Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, and the New World Symphony. He earned his PSC from the Colburn Conservatory, MM from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and BM from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. His primary teachers have been Frank Rosenwein, Mark Ostoich, Ramon Ortega Quero, and Mingjia Liu. In addition to his performance career he is often consulted for his knowledge in the arcane art of reed making.
