Oboist Timothy Feil has performed with ensembles such as the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, New World Symphony, and New York Chamber Soloists. In addition to performing, Tim operates a reed-making business that has sold thousands of oboe reeds worldwide, for which he was awarded the New England Conservatory’s Entrepreneurial Musicianship Alumni Award. As a teacher, he is on faculty at the Neighborhood Music School in New Haven, CT, and has given guest classes covering performance and musical instrument history for various departments at Yale University, including engineering, environment, and music. Currently, he is the Financial Assistant at the Yale School of Music.
