Caroga Arts Ensemble, directed by cellist Kyle Barrett Price, is comprised of top young professional musicians from around the country who have been part of the Caroga Lake Music Festival in Caroga Lake, NY. Performers include top competition prizewinners, music school and conservatory faculty and members of America’s leading orchestras and chamber groups.

At the age of nineteen in 2012, Price founded the Caroga Lake Music Festival at his grandmother’s home in the Adirondacks of Caroga Lake, NY. Caroga Arts Collective, the nonprofit parent organization, was formed in 2016. Today Caroga Arts Collective presents the National Summer Cello Institute, Feldenkrais Workshop, InterArts Symposium, MyHil Film Series, year-round Artist Residencies, and the Caroga Lake Music Festival which feature over a hundred accomplished musicians at more than forty events throughout the five weeks. Caroga Arts Ensemble has performed at the Symphony Center in Chicago, L.L. Bean’s Summer in the Park in Freeport, ME, Maverick Concert Series in Woodstock, NY, and Proctors Theater in Schenectady, NY among others.

Future engagements for Caroga Arts Ensemble include a weeklong educational residency at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in May 2019, a performance of Bernstein’s Songfest at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL in June 2019, and a return to the Maverick Concert Series in August 2019. 

Caroga Arts Ensemble performed the chamber ensemble arrangement of Bernstein’s Songfest conducted by maestro Alexander Platt at Maverick Concerts in Woodstock, NY in August 2018.
