Kyle Barrett Price, Director

Caroga Arts Ensemble, directed by cellist Kyle Price, is comprised of top young professional musicians from around the country who have been part of the Caroga Lake Music Festival. Performers include top competition prizewinners, School of Music faculty and members of America’s leading orchestras and chamber groups. In 2012, Price founded the music festival at his grandmother’s home in the Adirondacks of Caroga Lake, NY. Caroga Arts Collective, the nonprofit parent organization, was formed in 2016. This past summer, Caroga Arts Collective presented the National Summer Cello Institute, InterArts Symposium, MyHil Film Series, and the 7th annual Caroga Lake Music Festival which featured over a hundred accomplished musicians at more than forty events throughout the five weeks. Caroga Arts Ensemble has performed at the L.L. Bean’s Summer in the Park, Maverick Concert Series, and Proctors Theater among others. In October 2018, Caroga Arts Ensemble will make its Midwest debut at Chicago’s Symphony Center as part of the “Fall Lieder Lounge” concert presented by Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago.

Caroga Arts Ensemble performed the chamber ensemble arrangement of Bernstein’s Songfest conducted by maestro Alexander Platt at Maverick Concerts in Woodstock, NY in August 2018.
