SPACE In-School Program
Caroga Arts provides high-quality string instruction in violin, viola, cello, bass, and guitar, bringing engaging music education directly into schools. Through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and mentorship from professional musicians, students develop their skills while fostering a love for music. Our program enhances school music curriculums and makes learning accessible to all, with needs-based scholarships available.
2025-2026 S.P.A.C.E. In-School Offerings
Discover the benefits of learning music by playing a string instrument of your choice and studying with Caroga Arts Collective Associated Faculty and Guest Resident Artists. Students will receive weekly individual and/or group lessons on their instrument of focus, developing their musical and technical skills. Students will also participate in a variety of workshops focused on topics such as music theory and history from a mix of genres and musical styles. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers from the other partnering school districts in Caroga Arts holiday events including the annual Trunk or Treat, Tree Lighting, CLMF WinterFest, and Spring Residency.

Where is SPACE held? The SPACE Program is offered in partnership with four school districts: Johnstown, Gloversville, Wheelerville and Edinburg Common School. Find your school below to see what instruments and day SPACE offers lessons at your school.
Not in one of those school districts? CarogaArts offers PreK-K Violin lessons and PreK-12th grade Cello lessons for students from ANY school district at the Sherman’s House in Caroga Lake. Read more below.
