Quartet Performance at Gloversville Library
July 19, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
FreeCaroga Lake Music Festival looks forward to returning to the historic Gloversville Public Library to present an hour of quartet favorites. In 2017, the festival performed at a fundraising concert for the library’s building renovation.
The library building was erected with funds provided by Andrew Carnegie. The cornerstone was laid on August 27, 1904. Albert Randolph Ross, an architect with the New York firm of McKim, Mead and White, designed this masterpiece of Beaux Arts style, which, since 1976, has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
This concert will take place in its temporary location at 34 West Fulton Street in Gloversville, NY.
