Julian Müller

American/German cellist, Julian Müller has concertized as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player in the United States and Europe. An avid performer and composer of new music, Müller appeared as a soloist with the Louisville Orchestra in 2016. He performed the world premiere of the ballet, “How They Fade,” composed by Müller and art-pop band, YASSOU, on commission from the Louisville Ballet Company. In 2013 and 2012 Müller was a member of the New York String Orchestra Seminar (NYSOS) performing at Carnegie Hall. Müller has served as principal cellist of the Mannes Orchestra, CIM Orchestra and featured as continuo player in multiple opera productions. In recent summers Müller attended the Caroga Lake Music Festival, Colorado College Music Festival, The Heifetz Institute, and the National Summer Cello Institute. Müller is currently pursuing a Professional Studies Diploma at Mannes School of Music, studying with Timothy Eddy. Müller earned Master of Music degree from Mannes and a Bachelor of Music degree in cello performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
