Born in Huntington Station, NY, Eliza is a violinist in the New Haven Symphony. She spent three summers as a violin fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center, where she was awarded the 2018 Jules C. Reiner Violin Prize and performed as concertmaster and principal second under Andris Nelsons. A dedicated chamber musician, Eliza has attended Music@Menlo, Madeline Island Chamber Music, and Kneisel Hall. Eliza received her Bachelor of Music degree from Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music, and most recently completed her Master of Music degree at The Juilliard School. Her teachers include Lucie Robert, Carolyn Huebl, and Laurie Smukler.
