Jonathan Ong is a violinist and founding member of the acclaimed Verona Quartet, the Quartet-in-Residence at the Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music. An accomplished soloist and chamber musician, his playing has been praised for its “ineffable sweetness” (Boston Musical Intelligencer). He has performed across the world in international venues such as Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Philharmonie de Paris, Beijing and Shanghai Concert Halls, Melbourne Recital Hall, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Along with the Verona Quartet, he was recently bestowed with Chamber Music America’s prestigious Cleveland Quartet Award.
