Lauren Peacock is an active orchestral, chamber, and solo musician. She is currently assistant principal cellist of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. Prior to living in Alabama, she was a fellow in The Orchestra Now (TŌN) and held the position of assistant principal cellist of the Glens Falls Symphony. Lauren has attended prestigious summer programs such as the Tanglewood Music Festival, Aspen Music Festival, Colorado College Music Festival, and Crested Butte Music Festival. She also has a passion for teaching and is on faculty at the Alabama School of Fine Arts and STEP Birmingham. Lauren completed a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Michigan with Richard Aaron and a Master of Music degree at the University of Texas at Austin with Bion Tsang.
