Adrian Golay is a cellist with a particular interest in contemporary music. Adrian holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Jacobs School of Music, studying with Emilio Colón as well as playing in the school’s New Music Ensemble and studying under members of the Pacifica Quartet. Adrian also enjoys arranging for cello and other strings, adapting the music of Edgar Meyer, Astor Piazzolla, and others. Adrian lives in Seattle, WA, where he performs with groups including the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra and Saratoga Orchestra of Whidbey Island, as well as teaching students of all ages.
