Bethany Vaughan is a Chicago-based trumpet player and educator. As a freelancer, she has performed with the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Cleveland Orchestra, Houston Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, and National Arts Centre Orchestra, among others. As a chamber musician, she has performed with Seraph Brass, and her brass quintet was a finalist in the MTNA National Chamber Music Competition. Bethany attended Indiana University and Northwestern University. She has spent previous summers as a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival, Round Top Festival Institute, and Texas Music Festival, and she has performed at the Bravo! Vail and Blossom summer music festivals.
