Zacherie Small is a Barbadian Double Bassist from Miami, FL, and a member of The Orchestra Now (TŌN) at the Bard College in New York. He has performed with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the South Florida Symphony Orchestra, and the Colour of Music Festival Orchestra. Small received his Master of Music degree from Temple University and a Bachelor of Music from Florida International University. His teachers include Robert Kesselman, Joseph Conyers, and Nathaniel West. He has been a Double Bass fellow of the Eastern Music Festival and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra for their African-American Fellowship. Small is also an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade College.
