Caroga Arts Community Events

In addition to performances, Caroga Arts offers a number of celebratory events for the community at Sherman’s Park. These community events serve over 5,000 children and adults annually and are made possible by the generous help of our community partners, volunteers, and donors.

Kids Carousel Concert and Sensory Stations

Free family-friendly concert series presented by Caroga Arts, donations appreciated. Concert followed by free carousel rides.

Kids and adults will have the opportunity to try a variety of string instruments including the violin, viola, cello, and guitar. Other sensory activities include coloring with “Louie the Loon” and a free take-home sensory toy.

Halloween Kick off: Trunk-Or-Treat & Haunted Carousel

Children can enjoy rides on the haunted carousel and trunk-or-treating at Sherman’s


Holiday Tree Lighting

Kick off the holiday spirit with lights illuminating around Sherman’s Park, photos with Santa, carousel rides, treats and hot cocoa, bonfire caroling, and hay rides


Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day Concerts

Fun for the whole family, celebrate the holiday with an outdoor lakeside concert
