Based in Los Angeles, violist Alice Ping maintains an active freelancing career, performing frequently with the Pacific Symphony. As a session musician, she has contributed to many television, film, and video game scores, including The Orville, Overwatch 2, Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, and HBO’s Echo 3, and is also featured in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Mere Mortals.

Alice was an original cast member of “The Queens Ball: A Bridgerton Experience,” an interactive performance produced by Netflix and Shondaland at the historic Biltmore Hotel. She recently performed under the baton of John Williams, premiering his theme for the Obi-Wan Kenobi tv series, and can be seen playing regularly on NBC’s The Voice.

Alice received her master’s degree from The Juilliard School, and her bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin.
