Hailed by The Washington Post as “sweetly lyrical,” violinist, composer, and community organizer Ariel Horowitz performs multimedia compositions, contemporary works, and classical repertoire as a soloist and with Vision Duo. A Concert Artists Guild winner, Ariel’s debut album Hearth was released in 2024. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Heartbeat Music Project, serving Diné youth with music and cultural education. A Yale and Juilliard alum, Ariel is also a dedicated educator and chamber musician. Offstage, she enjoys dancing, practicing yoga, reading, and being a devoted cat-parent to her feline child, Roxy.
