Bram Goldstein was born and raised in Montreal, where he began his early violin studies. Mr. Goldstein is a top prizewinner in the Canadian Music Competition, and at the age of sixteen won the I Musici de Montreal Violin Competition. As a member of the Hausmann Quartet, Mr. Goldstein is a semi-finalist at both the Banff International and Beijing International String Quartet Competitions. Festival appearances include Aspen, Music@Menlo, Great Lakes Chamber Music, and La Jolla Summerfest. Mr. Goldstein has collaborated with such acclaimed artists as Jeremy Denk, Ani Kafavian, Toby Appel, The Alexander String Quartet, and legendary rock guitarist, Yngwie Malmsteen. Mr. Goldstein plays on an 1885 William E. Hill violin.
