Jazz pianist and vocalist Holly Bean honed her sound learning from legendary pianist Donald Brown, a former member of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers. Holly moved from her hometown in East Tennessee to New York City after graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies. Holly will graduate with her Master of Music in Jazz Piano from the Juilliard School in 2025. She has performed as bandleader at venues such as Birdland Jazz Club, the Django and Room 623, and works regularly as a freelancing artist at multiple venues across the New York City area and beyond.
