Double bassist Jonathan Borden is a member of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra bass section, a position he has held since 2014. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Juilliard School that same year as a scholarship student of Albert Laszlo. Since joining the BPO, Jonathan has also performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Detroit Symphony, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. In addition to his performing duties, Jonathan also serves as a Musician Trustee for the Buffalo Philharmonic, where he leads efforts to engage and grow future audiences for classical music.
