Canadian pianist Jonathan Mak has appeared as soloist with orchestras and at major festivals across North America and Europe. Recent engagements include Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières, and the Kingston Symphony. He has earned top prizes at major competitions, including Grand Prizes at the 2024 Concours international de musique de Sorel-Tracy and the 2023 Bader & Overton Canadian Piano Competition, plus awards from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Sylva Gelber Music Foundation. Jonathan is a DMA candidate at Rice University with Jon Kimura Parker and is a 2025–26 Rebanks Fellow at the Glenn Gould School.
