While he is celebrated by The New York Times for his “dynamic” and “polished” musicianship, most know Ken Kubota as a content creator through his pop cover series, JHMJams, and for pioneering his unique style of playing the cello like a guitar. As an artist, many recognize him as one-third of the band Empire Wild, a group now represented by Concert Artists Guild after receiving their 2020 Ambassador Prize. A graduate of the Juilliard School, Ken also serves as cello faculty at the Kaufman Music Center in Lincoln Center.
