Kristin Andlauer is a French horn player from Roxbury, NJ, and is currently the newly-appointed Principal Horn of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. She has performed with a variety of ensembles, including the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Reading Symphony Orchestra, and Symphony in C. Kristin has also been an Associate Member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and a substitute musician with the New World Symphony.
In addition to her performance career, Kristin has participated in several renowned summer festivals, including the Aspen Music Festival, the Round Top Festival Institute, and the Music Academy of the West.
Kristin earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Peter Kurau. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the Curtis Institute of Music under the guidance of Jeffrey Lang and Jennifer Montone.
