Linda Gall Silva, clarinetist, is a tenured member of the Riverside Philharmonic Orchestra and a faculty member in the Music Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She has performed extensively throughout Southern California with orchestras and chamber ensembles, including the Los Angeles Opera Association, Pasadena Pops, Redlands Symphony, Desert Symphony, and San Bernardino Symphony.

A former member of the award-winning Cimarron Wind Quintet, Ms. Silva has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Meet the Composer, Inc. She holds degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, and has taught clarinet and chamber music at Pomona College, the University of California, Riverside, the University of La Verne, California Baptist University, California State University, San Bernardino, and Houston Community College.

For 17 years, she served as Director of Instrumental Music and orchestra conductor at The Webb Schools in Claremont, California.
