Nathan Olson holds the position of Co-Concertmaster with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and is former Adjunct Faculty at Southern Methodist University and the University of North Texas. He has appeared as Guest Concertmaster with the symphony orchestras of Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Toronto, North Carolina, and as Principal Second Violin with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. A member of the Baumer String Quartet, Nathan is a silver medal winner of the Fischoff Competition. With the BSQ, he serves on faculty at the Crowden Chamber Music Workshop and participates in residencies at universities around the country, including SMU, North Texas, South Florida, and South Dakota. During the summers of 2023 and 2024, he served as Concertmaster of the Santa Fe Opera.
