Zachary Pulse is an oboist based in New York’s Hudson Valley. His orchestral engagements this season include Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Q, Harrisburg Symphony, and the Hudson Valley Symphony Orchestra. Highlight chamber music performances this year include venues such as Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall; the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall; the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon, NY; Atwood Museum in Chatham, MA; and the Chapel Restoration in Cold Spring, NY. Zach holds degrees from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, the University of Michigan, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Howland Chamber Music Circle in Beacon, NY. As a complement to his musical life, Zach enjoys fitness, vegetarian cooking, gardening, and hiking with his dogs.
