Violinist Erica Tursi enjoys performing, teaching and community engagement. She has appeared as a soloist with the Philharmonic of Southern NJ, Ocean City Pops, Ambler Symphony, Bucks County Symphony, Old York Road Symphony and Battleground Symphony. She has performed in Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian Institute, Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center, and Alice Tully Hall. Festival appearances have included Spoleto Festival, Music Academy of the West, The Quartet Program, Bowdoin International Music Festival and Stowe Winter Residency for the Perlman Music Program. Erica holds a bachelor of music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied with William Preucil. She received a Master of Music degree at the Juilliard School, under the mentorship of Catherine Cho. In addition, she has studied with Soovin Kim and Donald Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory. She is currently a Doctoral student at the University of Maryland and teaches a small private studio.
